    Using the same colors that we used in the iris of the eye start adding a light pencil wash over the areas as seen in the next few images.

    Notice in the detail drawing how the colors are dispersed throughout the fish. The darker colors overlay and blend with the lighter colors near all the areas that connect with another line or where that we want to create the illusion of roundness. Also notice the use of the Crimson Red pencil in the mouth of the fish. In the details below see how the illusion of roundness is created with the blending from light to dark.     Next we are going to add a little indigo blue in the areas indicated in the above details and in the following illustrations.

    Next we are going to add a little indigo blue in the areas indicated in the above details and in the following illustrations. Then continue to add the Spanish Orange, Goldenrod, Orange, Poppy Red and Crimson Lake as seen in the illustration and details below.
