  1. Is there a time limit for the lesson?

    • No, there is no time limit. You may use the lesson and all it's upgrades as long as required for completion.

  2. How do we get the work evaluated?

    • There are several options available to you.

      • If you have a home page you could post the drawings and I will evaluate them and send my comments through e-mail.

      • You could send me a scan of the work via email attachment in a (JPG),(GIF)or (BMP) file format and I will e-mail an evaluation. Please keep the files under 150k.

      • You may send clear glossy photographs of the work to be evaluated to the below address. (If you want the Photograph(s) Returned please include a self addressed stamped envelope with the photo. If there is no return envelope with postage the photographs will not be returned.)

      • You might also decide to send the work to me in a mailing tube and I will do an overlay with all my comments or instruction written on the overlay. MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE RETURN POSTAGE! (This is the best and most accurate way of getting the work evaluated properly)

      • Send them to:

          Snail Mail (US Postal Service)
          HomeSchoolArts
          802 North Mulberry Street
          Mount Vernon, Oh. 43050

          Email
          contact-hsa@homeschoolarts.com

      • For all other lessons like the K-6 project line it really is up to you to evaluate the work unless you want my input.

  3. What criteria do you use to evaluate the work submitted?

    • HomeSchoolArts evaluates work according to the composition, design, perspective, experience of the student, balance and overall effect of the work.

      • Composition:
      • Design
      • Perspective
      • Experience of the student
      • Balance
      • Overall Effects

  4. How can I get my student's work on the Student's Gallery?

    • The best way would be to send me a good clear focused glossy photograph of the work or project and a short biography of the student. (No last names please) If you would like the photograph back please send a self addressed stamped envelope with the photo and I will return it to you. You may also email a copy of the work to me in a (JPEG or TIFF) file format attached to your email. I use high speed Internet connectivity so I really don't worry about larger file sizes however you may be using dial up connectivity so please think about the file size that you are attaching to the email.

  5. How many lessons will there be?

    • I will from time to time post the lessons as I can complete them. If you have any lesson ideas please send them to me. If you know of an arts instructor that would like to contribute a lesson plan let me know. The best I can tell you is to check back from time to time to see what has been added to the lesson list.

  6. How can a teacher post lessons?

    • HomeSchoolArts is always open to new ideas and will work with qualified instructors to find an amicable agreement for posting their lesson plans. Please contact us at the above street address or email contact-hsa@homeschoolarts.com. Please include a phone number where you can be reached so that we may talk.
